چکیده
Regulatory long non-coding RNAs have been emerged as a major contribution of cognitive evolution in mammalian central nervous system and brain tissues. Though proteins have relatively conserved during evolution, the lncRNAs have evolved rapidly to cope with essential and widespread cellular regulation, partly by directing generic protein function. Long non-coding RNAs, highly yet specifically expressed in mammalian brain, provide tissueand neuronal activity-specific epigenetic and transcriptional regulation. lncRNAs have been documented to be essential for brain development and be involved in brain related diseases. We suggest that lncRNAs are important to modulate diverse central nervous system processes and are the major factor that is important to the brain development, which may be employed to develop novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies to treat brain related diseases. Moreover, animal models with altered lncRNA expressions and high-throughput approaches would help to understand the mechanisms of lncRNAs in brain development and the etiology of lncRNA-driven human neurological diseases.

To understand the impact of a hypovirus infection on the secretome of the chestnut blight fungus, Cryphonectria parasitica, a phytopathogenic filamentous fungus, two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE) and isobaric tag for relative and absolute quantitation (iTRAQ) technology were employed to identify and quantify the secreted proteins. A total of 403 unique proteins were identified from the sec...
متن کاملComputational Molecular Biology
Computational prediction of protein subcellular locations in eukaryotes facilitates experimental design and proteome analysis. We provide a short review on recent development of computational tools and our experience in evaluating some of these tools. Classical secretomes can be relatively accurately predicted using computational tools to predict existence of a secretory signal peptide and to r...
متن کاملExploring pathogenic mechanisms of Botrytis cinerea secretome under different ambient pH based on comparative proteomic analysis.
Botrytis cinerea causes gray mold rot on over 200 plant species worldwide, resulting in great economic loss every year. Cooperation of proteins secreted by B. cinerea plays an important role in its successful infection to host plants. The ambient pH, as one of the most important environmental parameters, can regulate expression of secreted proteins in various fungal pathogens. In the present s...
